Join the Youth Services Staff at Knox Park Shelter B, where we will read stories and dance to music. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on. (If it's raining or if the heat index is projected to be 100° or higher by 9 a.m.

Have some fun in the sun at parachute playtime. We’ll play a different set of games each week and sing songs while getting to meet new friends.

For this year's shredding event, the McHenry Public Library is partnering with the McHenry Moose Lodge #691 and the Johnsburg Public Library.

Any student age 18 and under receives a complimentary boxed lunch provided by the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

This month we will read Up the Creek by Nicholas Oldland and make our own boats that float!

Explore the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians in one-of-a kind herpetology programs that will educate and entertain. You will enjoy learning about animals from around the world while seeing them right up close.

Come to the library to read to a certified therapy dog. Dog owner will be present. This program is for kids 5 to 10 years old.

Coffee with Police Chief John Birk will begin with a topical presentation or guest speaker. Chief Birk will provide an overview of events or criminal activity within the city over the past month, allowing residents to stay informed.
