DESCRIPTION:The McHenry Public Library is partnering with the McHenry Moos
 e Lodge #691 for a free McHenry/Johnsburg area community shredding event. 
 No library cards required! There will be 2 trucks available this year.The 
 event will be held at the McHenry Moose Lodge from 9 am to 12 pm. Please e
 nter from the north on Johnsburg Road at the light.Bring your sensitive do
 cuments to be shredded safely. No certificates of destruction will be issu
 ed. Only paper materials will be taken.Please do not arrive early. It make
 s it difficult for others and the truck to access the parking lotPLEASE ta
 ke time to sort your material, ensuring it all contains confidential mate
 rial.We do NOT accept photographs, hard drives, CDs or floppy discs, cre
 dit cards, plastic-covered binders, or x-rays.Please REMOVE all binder cl
 ips, three-ring plastic binders, and larger metal pieces.The event is for 
 residential materials only, not for businesses.The quantity limit is appro
 ximately equal to 4 banker boxes (12"width x 16"depth x 10"
  height), but you can bring them in any box or bag.Staples, paperclips, s
 piral bindings, file folders without metal, and envelope windows are fine 
 to leave in.Please note that we will receive documents for shredding only 
 until the trucks are full.
