Program Description

Event Description

The Holocaust, Rwanda, Cambodia — all were genocidal events that required years of preparation and persuasion. Dr. Emilie Le Beau Lucchesi explains the progression of genocide communication and uses memoirs from survivors to demonstrate the various stages and how they led to violence. This lecture is an important look into the past and a reminder that ethnic cleansing and purges persist even today.
