Event Description
The McHenry-Wonder Lake Lions Club will sponsor the library's Mobile Hearing and Retinal Screening Unit. This mobile unit will conduct FREE hearing and retinal screenings for adults 55 and older. It screens for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. No appointment is necessary. The Mobile screening unit is sponsored by the McHenry-Wonder Lake Lions Club and the Lions of Illinois Foundation and is made possible through generous donations. At this event, the club will also collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids.
El Lions Club de McHenry-Wonder Lake patrocinará la Unidad Móvil de Detección de Audición y Retina. Esta unidad móvil llevará a cabo exámenes de audición y retina gratis para adultos mayores de 55 años. Detecta retinopatía diabética y degeneración macular. Cita no es necesaria. La unidad de detección móvil está patrocinada por el Lions Club de McHenry- Wonder Lake y la Fundación Lions de Illinois y es posible gracias a generosas donaciones.
